STILLWATER – The first eligibility-based injunction against the NCAA to impact Oklahoma State has been filed in Payne County by Cowboy Basketball senior guard Kashie Natt. Natt, who applied for a fifth year of eligibility for the upcoming 2026-27 season, was denied by the NCAA, leading to him filing an injunction.

This comes a week after the NCAA D-I Cabinet voted unanimously to approve an age-based eligibility model to give student-athletes five years to play five seasons.

Natt began his career at JUCO Southern University-Shreveport, before spending the next three seasons at NAIA LSU Alexandria, where he was the 2025 NAIA National Player of the Year and two-time All-American.

He then spent last season with Sam Houston, where he started all 34 games, averaging nearly 11 points and eight rebounds per game. He also led all of Conference USA in steals with 2.03 per game, defensive rebounds and double-doubles with nine and was the CUSA Defensive Player of the Year.
