STILLWATER – Unlike the tailback (running back) and wide receiver positions, the guys upfront that did a lot of the work clearing the way for great backs like Walt Garrison, Terry Miller, and others don’t get any clevel nicknames for their position. One exception and that would be the “War Pigs” that blocked for both Thurman Thomas and Heisman Trophy winner Barry Sanders.
