STILLWATER – Josh Holliday and Co. have added another pitcher out of the transfer portal in Ben Leikam from North Greenville University.
Leikam checks in at 6-3, 210 pounds and is originally out of Parker, CO and Valor Christian, but began his career with Wichita State.
This past season, Leikam, a lefty, played in 20 games and had an impressive 1.97 ERA with a 4-0 record. In 32 innings pitched, he gave up 19 hits and eight runs, seven of them earned with 42 strikeouts and 10 walks.
The batting average opposing hitters had this past spring was just .171.
Those numbers were drastically improved from 2025 as he had a 10.50 ERA across eight appearances and six innings. He had six strikeouts and seven walks and gave up 13 runs, seven of them earned.
Leikam was at Wichita State in 2024, but didn’t play or record any stats.
