STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. are still looking for their second commitment in the 2027 class and are hoping it’s a talented in-state linebacker. On Monday, former Tulsa (OK) Union and now Bixby linebacker Cain Brackney announced an offer from the Pokes.
Brackney checks in at 6-2, 220 pounds and is entering his senior season with Bixby after transferring from Union during the offseason. He currently holds offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, West Virginia and is currently committed to UCLA.
The offers from OSU, Baylor and Indiana have all come in the past 24 hours.
This past season with Union, Brackney was incredible as he recorded 102 total tackles, 68 of which were solo stops and 12.0 tackles for loss. He also had one interception for 68 yards and a touchdown, one pass break up, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
While his junior season with Union, I would expect the move to Bixby to push Brackney over the top on the recruiting front.
